After a few dates, the dreamboat is not that appealing anymore. So, after a few weeks, you are back in circulation – going to clubs, joining online dating sites and health gyms – looking and searching – again and again.

How do you find the perfect partner for you? You stop looking on the outside. Look inside. Work on yourself – not just the outer image of yourself, but you work on your inside. The truth is you will only attract who you are, so all this “blaming” the other person for not being the person you want them to be, is unfair. You will only attract someone who mirrors you. Ask yourself what is it about this person that you loathe or love about yourself? How is that a reflection on me? Look really deep into yourself. The answer is there.
Do not allow your ego to give the answers. It will only ask the mind. Instead, ask your heart. It will ask intuition.
The Law of Attraction
Whom you are with is who you are. So instead of focusing on the “other”, focus on yourself. And that does not mean you become narcissistic. You don't focus on your facade (ie. the way you look or dress) or your ego. You focus within. You focus on being mindful, centered, non judgmental, grateful and appreciative.
A Soul Mate or Twin Soul
Why is the ego putting a label on a relationship? Not that soul mates, twin souls or twin flames don't exist, but so what? When a couple shares a mutual pain, they often find some solace in that shared pain, and associate that memory-in-common as something special and unique to them. The truth is there are millions of people out there who also have that common experience, and you should not “bond” on shared pain. You should “bond” on love.
A soul mate is someone who you bond with not because you share pain-in-common, but because you are connected at the level of the soul.
A twin soul or twin flame is the result of a communion with the Cosmos, dividing itself into two, and rejoining, or “burning” as One. This is not an “airy fairy” lightweight phenomena.
Romantic Love
Romance is wonderful for the soul, it is music to the ears, sweet to the taste and warmth to the heart. A couple who has been together for a awhile should not neglect romance. It's like adding a little spice to an already good meal.
However, if you are trying to start a new relationship, you should be aware that romantic love is based a lot on fantasy, which is a temporary event. Eventually, as the barriers break down, you have to decide if you want to build a real relationship with this person, faults and all, or start to look again for that elusive “perfect” partner all over again. If you decide to do the latter, you still have to take your baggage with you. That baggage will go with you no matter who you are with and where you go, until you decide to drop it.

- Meditate daily to ground yourself and get centered.
- Work on yourself and you will begin to attract the one who is like you.
- If you want to give love, you must have love to give.
- If you want to receive love, you have to be able to accept love.
Remember the Law of Attraction
- You will get more of what you focus on.
- Focusing on pain will only perpetuate more pain.
- Focusing on love will draw more love to you.
You will find that as you begin to perfect yourself, you will attract the perfect partner for you – someone who also works on self-awareness. That is what you ultimately want, because a strong relationship requires equal effort by both partners.
